Old Post 101

American Legion Forgotten Warriors Post #101

Post #101 was created in 1981 by Vietnam-era veterans, but now actively recruits veterans of other war periods, particularly those of post-Vietnam service (Lebanon, Grenada, Panama, Persian Gulf War, and Somalia combat eras).

Post #101 provides help for veterans in many ways, including obtaining benefit assistance; engages in several children, youth and community efforts such as Child Watch, Teen Watch, oratory competition, a preschoolers Christmas party, and a Veterans Day ceremony; and conducts a vigorous public information campaign through the media to provide veteran-related information to the public and the veteran community.

Post #101 operates The Old Post, and our wish is that your visit here is a truly enjoyable experience—the first of many.
